Gardening in the rain

We have had 16 days below normal temperature here in June. And we have had plenty of rain. The problem is that there hasn't been much sun. With the lack of sunshine, my tomatoes are slowly, slowly growing.

The lettuce is coming along nicely. Next year I think I'll try and start some seeds indoors or maybe make a cold frame for the lettuce. I had to start so late this year.
